Philip received his PhD in Management in May 2016 from the University of Sheffield Management School, UK. His PhD research focused on evaluating the impact of New Public Management (NPM) reforms (Privatisation and Public Private Partnerships) on employees and consumers within Ghana. He also holds an MA Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the Warwick University Business School, UK, Master of Public Administration (MPA) and BA (Hons) Political Science with Sociology (Second Upper) degrees from the University of Ghana, Legon.

Philip is currently an undergraduate tutor in Organisational Behaviour at the University of Sheffield Management School and covers topics such as: Understanding Organisational Behaviour, Formal Organisations, Bureaucracy, Scientific Management, Post Bureaucracy and New Organisational Forms, Motivation at Work, Leading and Managing Organisations, Managing Organisational Change and Culture and Organisations.

Philip’s research has covered the fields of Employment Relations, Organizational Behaviour, International Human Resource Management, Public Policy and Management, and International Development.  He is interested in exploring the influence of institutional factors on management and development in emerging economies.
