Alejandra  holds a BA and a professional title in Sociology by the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, and a MA in International Development – Development Management by the University of Manchester. She has worked at the Universidad del Pacifico Research Center as an analyst for consultancies and research projects focused on international cooperation, extractive industries and development in Peru and Latin America. She is currently engaged in M&E consultancies for academic institutions, and collaborating with On Think Tanks on research pieces on the challenges thinks tanks face in developing countries. Her research interests are on the impact that international development agendas have at a national and subnational level, and the politics of development.
