SIID has been awarded funding for a two-year post doctoral fellowship in Peace Studies, made possible by a generous legacy from the estate of the late Max Batley.

The fellowship will commence in autumn/ winter 2016, with a research project focused on the development of a fresh and original conceptual approach to Sustainable Peace informed by concepts of environmental justice.

The fellowship will be supervised by Professor Dan Brockington (SIID) and the University of Sheffield’s newly appointed Professor Rosaleen Duffy (Department of Politics).
