SIID has issued its second research funding call for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Open to members of the SIID fellowship within the University of Sheffield, the call invites applications for research projects and symposia/ seminar series with a focus on International Development.

Following on from the success of the October 2015 round, where over £115k was awarded to new seedcorn projects across the University, the call is designed to stimulate high-quality, collaborative interdisciplinary research and discussion. In this round there is a particular focus on stakeholder engagement, potential for journal publication and the exploration of new and experimental areas of research. Bids will be prioritised where they demonstrate impact and where there is a strong likelihood of progression towards externally funded research proposals.

The call is open to all members of the SIID fellowship who are employed by the University of Sheffield. If you have an interest in joining the fellowship, or would like to find out more about this funding call, please contact
