We are seeking applications for an ESRC PhD studentship, entitled “Strengthening Civil Society: Linking theory, practice and policy to improve inter-organisational partnerships for international development” funded by a White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership Collaborative Award.

The successful candidate will work with PHASE Worldwide and PHASE Nepal – two NGOs founded with the aim of providing support to promote self-empowerment of Nepalese communities living in remote Himalayan areas. The research will adopt a qualitative, interpretative approach and data will be generated through action research, research interviewing and documentary analysis
