Transforming Expertise: Global Change Science & The Politics of Knowledge

Professor Castree’s research draws on Marxist theory to understand the ecological implications of capitalism. He has written extensively on concepts of Nature, anthropecene, space, place and time, as well as on wage work and paid employment.  He is the author of several books including Nature (2005) and Making Sense of Nature (2014). In this open lecture he will reflect on expertise and knowledge in global change science.

This event is open to all and will be followed by a  drinks reception at 17:00.
